Was there at Wembley today. Congrats to Liverpool from Chelsea a fan. I had a few Liverpool fans sitting next to me too, they nervous as much as we were at times. Such an exciting game & end to end madness but happy with our players at the same time too for the effort they put in. We kept the resilience against Liverpool as before the game I thought Liverpool would wipe the floor with us. Penaltys seemed to go on forever, not too upset with my team, but credit to Liverpool beating us again on Penaltys.

@Michael unbelievable energy from the players on both sides. It seemed like a proper fifa match the way they were moving. I felt out of breath just watching them play 😂. The atmosphere was amazing. Almost lost my voice from shouting and getting pissed off at the smallest things like free kicks, interceptions etc. The hype & adrenaline rush was truly there, felt amazing!

This is one of the most intense, if not, exciting match of a cup final. Regardless how small the value of this tournament from our perspective, the match itself (the final) speaks the volume and increased the huge importance of this trophy.

I can guarantee you that the guy in the original comment and myself, would've reacted like this even if Liverpool loss. We are just happy that our club won. @@plty3931 disagree saying that is experience what he has, I'd say it's spacial intelligence, he actually does not have much experience because unlike most of the other players that started as kids, he started training at 18-19, and that's why the entire country has big expectations because if he can do this being coached 4 years by Colombian low level coaches and 2 more by a Portuguese one, imagine what he can do under Klopp's arms.

This trophy win came two weeks, after my stepmum passed away ❤️ She'd been a fan of the Reds for more than half of her life, and for the 18 years she was part of my life, she basically helped me fall in love with this team. The minute Kepa missed that penalty, she would've been cheering, and when Hendo shuffled his way to the trophy lift, she would've been dancing and cheering. I know she would've loved to have seen this win, but somehow I know she was ❤️

I'm proud of this team today! I remember the win 2012 fondly, and this team is capable of so much more this season and the coming years. What a fantastic decision by Klopp letting Kelleher play in the final like he deserved. Let us hope for more silverware this season, I certainly believe!!

My heart couldnt handle the full 90mins + extra time. The most intense game i ever watched, chelsea had so many chances ended up with offsides. I had to stop watching, my anxiety was so high and my heart beats so fast lol. I had to turn off the tv bcos i couldnt watch the penalty, thank god liverpool won it; so proud of this team!

Luiz Diaz guy for me will make a bigger impact than Jota at Liverpool. Beyond goals, the way he brings others into the game and his work off the ball are just unbelievable. Great buy from Liverpool. He was made for Liverpool and Liverpool for him. Klopp seems to know how to get the perfect player for Liverpool.

Almost had a heart failure watching the penalties, what an absolute beauty of a game. Defensive, offensive, tactical full entertainment. Respect to both teams. Hope kepa bounces back, not a fan of him but it has happened with us Karius too...

As a Glasgow Celtic FC Supporter I was delighted to see Liverpool win, I was even more delighted to see that cocky little Chelsea goalkeeper take the winning miss shot. He was totally full of himself when he came on like some kind of Billy big time. Brilliant LFC.

It was great watching the nail biting thriller against Chelsea. All our players showed their determination and quest to win it throughout the 120 mins of game time and penalties. Thanks to Jürgen Klopp and all the players who have been bringing us happiness throughout this season.

We have to respect both keepers here, Kelleher was great all game but Mendy yet again was outstanding for Chelsea i'm so glad they subbed him because i genuinely think he would have won them the game in pens with a few saves

How does he not put Mendy in goal for penalty, he just won an afcon trophy final on penality .. he had the skills and experience and proven during the game he deserve to be there. Guttered, Chelsea lost this game themself. Don't blame the guy that missed

Gg to both sides. Liverpool and Chelsea played to their fullest, but in the end Kepa missed. Good job from the chelsea players. They were just unlucky to have scored 3 offside goals
