Never bothered watching the community shield for some years, but this was an absolute belter .considering both teams not yet at full speed and at their best this could have easily been a UCL game. what a standard these two teams have set and must have scared the hell out of the rest of the premier league .

Carvalho looks like a kid about to become a star from what I've seen so far. Demanding the ball at 19 years old is unbelievable confidence and he seems to have great balance and poise on the ball. This has to be the most wholesome rivalry in the history of top level English football. The amount of respect Klopp and Pep (and their teams) have toward each other is really what the true essence of "The Beautiful Game" is all about.
