I honestly can’t stop smiling, this guy is all genuine and you can tell he has a humble attitude, thanks god and approaches challenges with relentless vigor. Insane footballer and all around good hearted kid. Can’t wait to see him thrive in klopps system. I also couldn’t help but laugh when he called Trent “Alexander” like that’s his first name. Lol

There is a reason (probably) to that. In spanish we use our mother and father's surnames, so Luis is Diaz Marulanda. So trent Alexander Arnold, is Mr Alexander.....Props to the boy from La Guajira. Vamos Liverpool!

Well said. The character of the player seems to be our most important attribute of any player we sign, which is why I'm so proud of the club I support. You can have all the "skillz" in the world but if you don't have "YNWA" in your DNA then go join the Mancs, Chelsea, etc.

He is actually considered indigenous in Colombia and was severely malnourished growing up. I just hope some @r$ehole or other doesn't have their hooks in him the way they did with Carlos Tevez who grew up in the worst slum in Buenos Aires and just didn't have the educational level to protect himself.

@@soph1647 comes from 1 of the 2 poorest areas in Colombia called Guajira, you can check it out, it has a desert next to an ocean, beautiful place, but the government doesn't pay attention to the extreme poverty they deal with. His family had nothing much than each other and he was discovered on a unprofessional native (indigenous) tournament about 6 years ago, made it to a second division team, same year was transferred to one of the biggest professional clubs in Colombia and after two seasons he was transferred to Porto for other two seasons. Big steps for a big talent 🔥

What an amazing video! Luis comes from the humble region of La Guajira in the coastal region of Colombia. People there don’t really have too many opportunities in life. As a Colombian, seeing him side by side with Klopp brings tears of joy to my eyes. He is so humble, hard working and down to earth, he deserves to be a part of such an amazing club. This is proof that no matter who you are or where you come from if you work hard you can do anything you want in life. I just hope Lucho (short for Luis in Colombia) can keep dreaming and getting better every day with this stellar team! Lucho, we are all rooting for you. Good luck!

I am not very happy with this signing. I think he is a good player don't get me wrong. But this feels a bit like 15' Liverpool. We should be getting top players now. And I now we don't spend quite as much as the cities and the Chelseas but we're just behind. And he wasn't cheap either. Outside of the biggest names I would much more preferred Nkunku. All this said, I hope he proves me wrong.

¡Así es! y se alegra uno cuando hay personas como tú qué lo apoyan. Diferente acá en Colombia, que lo quieren destruir porque jugaron mal en el partido contra Argentina,sobretodo la prensa. ¿Cómo que el juega solo.? Escaloni no es bobo como el técnico de nosotros, se dió cuenta que sino marcaba bien a este pelao, iba a ser un dolor de cabeza y mandó a Pezela a cubrir las espaldas de Montiel junto con el volante de esa banda,el pelao no pudo hacer nada. Además que los compañeros no se acercaban, estaban estáticos y siempre eran presa de la dinámica de Argentina. En este equipo liverpool que juega más o menos al ritmo de Argentina,verás como este pelao se potencia, lógico sin ser románticos será uno de los mejores del mundo,de eso no tengo duda.
