Absolute legend, can't believe it's been 8 years since that free transfer from City. We got 8 great years of Milner out of his, so far, 21 professional years. I know he will return as a coach one day, I just feel it. A true professional and hard worker through and through.

He has missed 5 in his career, two were with Liverpool. One in the Champions League versus NK Maribor on 1 November 2017 and one versus Southampton in the Premier League on 7 May 2017.

Went to see my first Liverpool game in the autumn of 2003. Little did I know I'd witness one of the all-time Liverpool greats in that game. A 16 year old James Milner playing for Leeds Utd at Anfield that day.

I've only been to Anfield once (last PL game before COVID, against Bournemouth). Finally, I got to see all these legends in action & the big moment everyone remembers from that game, Milner's goal line clearance to keep the 2-1 lead. Proper player & and leader, showed the young guys how to be professional, & his longevity is insane. All the best, Mily!
