You will see that Martinez had a touch on the ball which changed the trajectory of the ball, making Nunez switch to heading, though it was not easy. It may look funny, but it was the right decision.

Am a football player, not a professional level but still the feeling is the same. I can understand what Ryan felt when he was sitting, you get impressed at how fast and strong everyone is while you are sitting and you don’t know how faster, quicker and more technical you are when playing. You think everyone is playing better than you until you play and everyone says “you were the best today”, that doesn’t mean everyone is not but you only feel the intensity of the game when you are sitting.
