Cant understand how so many are brainwashed in thinking henderson needs replacing. The team does better without him. Hendos rare full games cost 11 points last season. 4 points salvaged when he got taken off the pitch. City wouldn't have a chance if klopp didn't keep his faith in hendo. Might run 100 miles a game but does nothing with it.

Hopefully Carvalho/Elliot can step up That midfield 3 of Thiago, Fabinho as a double pivot and Fabio/Elliot as a Trequista (No. 10) with a front our attackers could be deadly btw I love Hendo but I think he’s at the point where he needs to get fazed out slowly over the next 2 seasons and someone else takes the step forward as Captain like Trent or VVD - I’m from Liverpool as well before I get called a plastic

@@Antifa_Gini if you watch he team shape we very much do Hendo drives forward and Thiago and Fab stay bag obviously Thiago and Hendo switch that if he received the ball but like my issue is I love Hendo and all but when we went from Wijnaldum to Thiago people were saying the reason Ginis stats were so bad was the system but Thiago has disproved that I feel like Klopp is waiting for one of the young ones to take a step forward but they just haven’t yet

As much as I hate to say it (as a united fan), pep and klopp have built such wonderful teams, its really incredible and painful to see. They made the right decision by not coming to united, our egoistic, business minded, fool of a owner would never be able to build a great football unit even with pep or klopp. Shame on you glazers. Ruined one of the best clubs in the world.

The modern game in EPL and Europe is changing rapidly. It will be arrogant to assume the team is fine and all set. The sense of “sensible crisis management” should always be there. Fully appreciate Klopp’s candour about being crazy to make changes for the whole season over one month’s of injuries. With due respect to Klopp and club who has to balance finance, team structure and team morale (players playing time), this year is particularly challenging with the intensity and a WC year. One bad month can kill your entire season. Liverpool’s midfield need to strengthen. Whether Klopp can get the right player this summer is a different question - agree no desperate buy. Henderson, Milner and Thiago are aging. Ox and Keita are forever injury prone and for Keita it is always flashes of brilliance but not consistent. Young players are game on but is it enough? Every season is precious. One cannot play to just be “nearly there”. Last season is history. Others have strengthened. One has to play with the optimal structure to win as many tournaments as possible including a balanced plan for intensity and injuries. YNWA.

I'm so grateful to be a Liverpool supporter at this time in history. The Klopp era is a magical time to be alive! At this point I barely care if we win any more silverware, I just want the fun football, spirit and good vibes that permeate everything LFC to keep on rolling. Ofc I realise that if we go 4-5 games without points, the plastic "fans" will be out in force on twitter, trying their best to make everything worse & everyone miserable. But, personally, I would happily follow Klopp and our lads to the Championship if it came to that.

Who though? Would love to see Bellingham as Henderson's long term replacement, but he's going nowhere for at least a year. Jones or Elliott will be Thiago's replacement going forward and Bajetic looks like he could be the one to take over from Fabinho eventually. I'd rather see us get rid of a few before we sign anyone...

The fact you think we don't need another midfielder is worrying. No wonder we more often than not come up short against Manchester City. We never adress our squad gaps in time. Last time we won a Premier League will be 3 years ago this season, last time we won a Champions League will be 4 years ago this season. Mohamed Salah, Henderson, Van Dijk, Thiago, Firmino, Matip and the like won't be getting any younger. Underwhelming for the supposed best team in Liverpool's history.
