Melbourne, Australia. On the other side of the world and the amount of fans that experience the final with me was unbelievable. Over 10,000 people cam to our town square at 5 in the morning to see Liverpool. Something I’ll never forget, shows the passion the world has for this club ! ❤️❤️

That You’ll Never Walk Alone sung by 96,000 fans will be one of those memories that’ll be with me until I die. I was 8 years old at the time and that moment made me grasp the real passion this club has. Liverpool is not just a club, it is a worldwide family.

The fan base has been growing from the late 70's.. Bob's Red Machine demanded respect, don't forget we played exhibition matches as well in Tokyo, Middle East, etc. LFC has had worldwide appeal for a long time now.

There are many Liverpoolfc fans in Singapore too. Our fathers and grandfathers used to work in shipping companies, shipping goods from England, mainly Liverpool port to Singapore port. Hope I can go to Liverpool this August for my first time.

Plus the most watched Champions League finals globally have either had Liverpool or Man Utd in the final. Social media followers skew very young with an average age of 16, when most football fans around the world are over 40, something like 65%. Plus social media followers can be faked and Real Madrid lost 2 million social media followers when Ronaldo left showing many of them were not real supporters of the club. TV companies around the world pay the Premier League more money than La Liga because they know the real stats that show Premier League teams are the most supported clubs in the world.

@@Delboy0 You are absolutely right, it is really sad to see an entire club falling because of a single player, it shows how much of an impact that player had on the club, especially when its Real Madrid. I mean lets be fair, ever since Ronaldo left, football became boring, the only real competition which was between Barcelona and Real Madrid is dead and so was the hype, I believe the majority of people including me aren't used to watching football in this state. So yeah, the only real change happened when Ronaldo left RM, on the other hand, Premier League is the dominant League and it doesn't matter where Ronaldo goes, it will still be people's favourite League because of how strong the clubs are there.

@@CraftxGame The truth is La Liga, Real and Barcelona built their brand on the players. They realised English teams were much more popular so would buy the best Premier League players to boost their global profile. People around the world don't support the player, they support the clubs in England, so it doesn't matter whose name in on the back, it is the name on the badge that matters and English clubs sometimes have 6 or 7 generations of people who have supported them around the world, while Real and Barca don't have this multi-generational support outside of Spanish speaking countries.
