@@kev9514 I've just watched it back on the full match recording on LFC tv. Nobody from CP appealed for the penalty. Not a single player put their hand up. Play continued for 7 minutes with the ball in play, it went from end to end and wasn't stopped for a possible foul by Nunez. The referee made no indication there was an on-going check. Neither did the match commentary get any notification of any such checking happening. They even thought it was for the Nunez incident at first. I just think it's ridiculous that it took 7 minutes to make a decision to contact the referee to stop play. Imagine if either side had scored and the goal had been taken away, as happened in the first half. I think there was contact with Quansah initially and I'd have accepted it at the time if VAR had stepped in, but 7 minutes later? I thought it was supposed to be a clear and obvious mistake, missed on field. It's hardly that clear if it takes 7 minutes to review it! I'm not suggesting for a moment any sort of conspiracy against LFC, I'm just dismayed it took so long.

Most of the time he got "caught" on the ball was because of poor or mistimed passes to him. He didn't have the greatest game but he also wasn't done many favors by his teammates putting in him terrible situations with THEIR choices.
