He makes everything look so easy. He’s ridiculously good on the ball, and can tackle and pass. Man, what a player he is. And I know he’s getting older but he hasn’t seem to lost much pace?

Modric is still world class at 36. Why must thiago drop off? He still has 5 or 6 good years ahead of him. Hope he stays injury free in that period and helps liverpool win a lot of trophies.

Remember when people said "thiago slows the play down" and blaming him for our bad form last season? People overlooking the fact we had lost out centre backs for almost the whole season. Thiago is incredible and a joy to watch.

The amount of times this young lad has switched defence into attack for us is ridiculous. Defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, playmaker and sometimes sweeper all rolled into one. Such a joy to watch. Solid!

I damn miss him at Bayern, happy to see him do well and really show what he can do. Saw him do this consistently for Bayern, doesn't get the goals and assists but gets the ball moving, helps the team get out of tight situations and gets crucial pass-to-assists. Amazing player

When Thiago was brought in there was no Plan B we had. It was always heavy metal all out. As Thiago developed, so did Liverpool, now we boast both speed AND art in the game. Klopp genius

When he started off, I was a doubtful, but within 3 games it was evident that klopp has recognized the need for creativity. Both Thiago and Keita have that purpose. Thiago adapted faster, Keita is great but too fragile

If Tiago was any more relaxed, he'd be unconscious. I just love his chilled and zen like approach to everything. And to top it off he has a very calculated mind with a sharp and humorous wit that we've all seen in interviews. Loved him since his Bayern days, that hasn't changed.
