The best way to dry socks is to attach them to the end of a hairdryer, then run it on low setting so as not to burn holes into the socks. Does not work with condoms.

He just takes butter. But he's saying that on a bacon roll in Scotland it's not just bacon, you usually also add a potato scone, sausage, square sausage (Lorne sausage) or a fried egg. I think his point is why would you waste your time with sauce when there's such better things to add to a bacon roll. Burst egg yolk over sauce any day.
